There are 3 levels to participate as a member of the PTA:

Level 1: Pay to Become a Member

Join the PTA and become a CDM-PTA Member TODAY!

Go to https://carmeldelmarpta.com/ and click on “Join the PTA”. Families will pay $30 for your yearly membership. You can also scroll down and make a donation of any additional amount. Any money given will go directly to the CDM PTA for the 2023-20234 School year to fund the following:

  • CDM Family Carnival
  • Read-a-thon
  • Drama Club
  • Teacher Mini Grants
  • Used Book Giveaways
  • Parents Nights and Community Outreach
  • Staff Appreciation Week
  • Entertaining and Educational Assemblies
  • Movie Nights

Level 2: Volunteer for Events or Join a Committee

You can volunteer to help at any of our events this year by emailing cdmptapresident@gmail.com or by joining a committee. We need more volunteers: Historian, Co VP of Programs, and Chairs for the Yearbook Committee, Book Fair Committee, Dad’s Club, and Various event committees (International Showcase, Talent Show, Love Fest, Art Show) , as well as volunteers to help on all committees. 

We are also looking for volunteers to read with students 1 hour each week through our Everyone A Reader program starting later in the school year. For more information email cdmptapresident@gmail.com.

Level 3: Join the CDM PTA Executive Board:

Become a member of the CDM PTA Executive Board and you will not only have the opportunity to get in the room where decisions are made, but you’ll also be able to create relationships with other CDM parents, teachers, and staff.  We are a welcoming and low-key group that values diversity and a range of opinions. Our board meets once a month and each member is assigned a different position to support all that the PTA does for CDM.
