THANK YOU CDM!!!

The CDM Read-a-Thon was a HUGE success! Once all the funds come in, we will have raised over $37,000 thanks to our generous CDM community.  Thank you to all our families for supporting our students, school and staff!
We actually raised more money this year than we thought when planning the event.  So, we don’t have enough of the water bottles or dragons to deliver to our students this week.  Don’t worry!  We have ordered more and will distribute the week after we return from Winter Break.  We are still going through the data, but here are some fun things to know about how we did:
  • The student with the most Reading Minutes was a 5th Grader who read for 1,370 minutes!
  • Our families sent 1,608 emails requesting pledges!
  • We had a whopping 193 Dragons raise $100 or more!
  • A fantastic number of 38 Dragons raised $250 or more!
  • We had THREE Dragons that raised $500 or more!
  • Amazingly, ONE Dragon raised $1,000!
Again, THANK YOU to everyone that participated in any way.  We are truly grateful for all of your support!
