Teacher for a DaySOLD OUT!
2nd Grade teachers are looking for a student to be Teacher for a Day! The winning student will do all activities a teacher does during the day: attendance, lead P.E., run Go Noodle, run Classroom Dojo, discuss reading and math, and lead the recess and lunch duty positions. All activities will be conducted alongside the current teacher and all materials will be provided. The student may also invite several friends for lunch in the classroom.

SWEET RETREAT
Join the Kindergarten teachers for a Sweet Retreat. Participants will be making, baking, decorating and taking home sugar cookies – all made with love. Supplies will be provided. Bakers will meet in Room 501. Be sure to indicate ANY food allergies in the payment section at checkout.

Kitchen Take Over
Do your kids love to cook? Sign them up for the first grade “Kitchen Taker-Over Party!” Students will take over the staff lounge for an afternoon of cooking with the First grade teachers. The menu includes: fruit smoothies, spaghetti and meatballs, and “Cupcake Wars”. Each student will get a chance to decorate a cupcake based on a special theme and present their creation to the judges. Participants will also decorate an apron and chef hat for a special keepsake. Cooks will meet in the teacher’s lounge. Be sure to indicate ANY food allergies in the payment section at checkout.

Art of Gaming
Students can bring their own device or share one of ours to participate in multiplayer games (like Minecraft) on a secure server. Play traditional board games, and/or create game inspired works of art from clay, paint, and paper. Snack provided. Dress for a mess! Ceramicafe & SwirlsSOLD OUT!
Three lucky students will get creative during a fun-filled trip to Del Mar’s Ceramic Café, followed by a sweet trip to Swirls with Mrs. Sleet, Miss Whipple and Mrs. Zebold.

Art is Nature – Nature is Art
Come learn about the fascinating artwork of Andy Goldsworthy! Students will meet in room 105; after a brief video clip and review of Mr. Goldworthy’s work, participants will take a neighborhood walk along Carmel Valley Trail to create masterpieces in nature. After exploring art in nature, students will return to CDM to make ice-cream sundaes in the Teacher’s Lounge.Be sure to indicate ANY food/enviromental allergies in the payment section at checkout.

PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT
STEAM+ Teachers have a fun night planned. Activities will include Art Projects in the Art Room; Animals in the Science Lab; Open Lab in Technology; Movie in the Music Room AND Pizza, juice and dessert included! Participants must be CDM Students.
